Job Purpose
We are looking for you as our Trainee Global Product Management. In this position, you will drive global product marketing impact by taking ownership portfolio efficiency projects and e-shop channel management within the Straumann Dental Implant System (SDIS) Product Management team. You will develop expertise in Product management tasks and KPIs for driving growth and efficiency. In this position, you will be able to build a solid network across functional teams. You will be part of the Product Management team in the Implantology Business Unit, based at the HQ in Basel. The position is temporary for one year.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities 

• Support e-shop channel management with KPI definition and data analysis.
• Leads data harmonization and data cleaning projects. 
• Drive portfolio rentability screening and product phase-out implementation
• Creates reporting tools and leads e-shop initiatives in close cooperation with Product managers.
• Explores ways to improve product availability in e-shop
• Supports compliance projects for product documentation
• Takes ownership for an effective and transparent communication between stakeholders, feeding different communication channels and continuously searching for tools and ways to improve it.

Profile

• Degree in life sciences, business administration or equivalent, familiarity with e-commerce & digital marketing topics as well as Project management an advantage 
• At least 6 months of working experience, preferably in an international matrix organization in medtech, life science or similar industry  
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
• Achiever personality with affinity to data management
• Open minded and proactive personality with the ability to cultivate a network of effective working relationships in an international matrix environment as well as to motivate and engage stakeholders
• Fluent in English, any other language is an asset
